Job Overview: As a Multimedia Specialist at Faith Outreach Church, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and impactful multimedia content to support our mission. Working closely with the Digital Media Manager, you will contribute to website design and development, marketing efforts, and the creation of visually stunning videos, graphics, and other multimedia materials.

Responsibilities:

• Website Design and Development: Collaborate with the Digital Media Manager to design, develop, and maintain the church's website, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly online presence.
• Photography & Video Production: Capture high-quality footage during church services, events, and special occasions, ensuring optimal lighting, angles, and audio quality. Produce videos for promotional, instructional, or informational purposes.
• Video Editing/Post-Production: Implement color correction, audio enhancement, adding animations and graphic elements, and post-production techniques to edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that effectively convey our church's messages and values. Apply creative storytelling techniques for engaging narratives.
• Storyboarding: Develop visual storyboards and concepts to guide the production of multimedia content.
• Audio Editing: Edit and enhance audio files for multimedia projects, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music.
• Photo Editing: Enhance and retouch photos to maintain consistent visual aesthetics across various platforms.
• Graphic Design: Create graphics and visual elements for videos, social media, and promotional materials for both internal and external marketing.
• Content Management: Select the best shots, sequences, and angles for videos, maintaining a cohesive and visually appealing presentation.
• Consistency: Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all multimedia content.
• Platform Optimization: Optimize multimedia for different platforms such as social media, website, and live events.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the Digital Media Manager and Media Team to effectively manage project timelines and priorities. Offer creative insights during brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to enhance multimedia content strategies.
• Quality Assurance: Review and test multimedia content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to branding guidelines.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in multimedia production to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of content.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Sermon Management: Edit, and upload sermons onto the website, app, and YouTube. Add sermon thumbnails on the same platforms. Review sermon and Identify and edit sermon clips and quotes to publish onto social media.
• Social Media Management: Schedule and publish select content using social media dashboards.
• Media Acquisition: Receive, Process, and organize photos and videos in our content library or digital file storage system for later use on the website and online.
• Outsourcing: Edit or assist with outsourcing multimedia, websites, graphic designs, event promo videos, after-movies, and recaps for publication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Film Production, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Multimedia Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video filming, editing, photo editing, and graphic design skills.
• Proficiency in multimedia software and tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and graphic design applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills in multimedia production.
• Proficiency or ability to become efficient with Proclaim and ProPresenter presentation software.
• Understanding of video production processes, including filming techniques, lighting, and audio recording.
• Creative storytelling abilities and the capacity to translate concepts into captivating visual narratives.
• Strong attention to detail, an eye for visual composition, and a passion for creativity and innovation.
• Familiarity with color correction, audio editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially within a team.
• Alignment with Faith Outreach Church's values and the ability to reflect these values in multimedia content.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Knowledge of web design principles and experience with wordpress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
